A practical and interactive workshop that aims to enable you to be able to prepare and present with confidence. On completion of the workshop you will be able to: • Describe the qualities of an effective presenter • Plan a presentation keeping the audience in mind • Structure a presentation to the audience needs • Develop clear objectives for your presentation • Use ‘attention grabbers’ to enhance your opening • Develop effective visual aids • Use several different methods and tools for presenting • Use positive presentation style behaviors • Practice your presentation skills Pre-course Preparation Prior to attending this workshop you will need to: • Prepare a 5 minute presentation ready to deliver on the day (No power point). This can be any topic of your choice. • Prepare a 10 minutes presentation ready to deliver on the 2nd day. This would be more effective if you selected a work related topic. You may use slides, flipcharts or any other form of presentation tool you prefer. All usual presentation equipment will be provided. However, should you have a specific requirement, please let us know. • Bring your laptop to be used when improving on your 10 min presentation if you are using power point slides T&C's This workshop is designed for 14 participants at a time to give maximum hands-on experience to each participant, this is a non refundable course, but it is transferable if you are not able to make it.
